LOCATION: R260 403 per annum Employee Health and Wellness: Social Work Service, Provincial Personnel Management: Frances Baard Cluster REFERENCES: NC5/06/2017 Generic Requirements:  Applicants must display competency in the post-specific functions of the post;  Be in possession of a Senior Certificate (Grade 12);  Be proficient in at least two official languages, of which one must be English;  Must be a SA Citizen;  Be in possession of at least a valid light motor vehicle driver’s licence;  Must have no previous convictions or cases pending;  Applicants will be subjected to a vetting process which will include security screening and fingerprint verification;  Relevant courses in the field of the post may be an advantage. Additional Requirements:  Applicant must be in possession of a NQF 6 qualification in Social Work Services and valid registration with the South African Council of Social Service Professions (SACSSP) and paid up fees for 2017/2018;  Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and policies;  Must be prepared to work in a multi-discipline team;  Ability to market Social Work Services;  Successful candidate must be willing to travel when required;  Applicants must have good presentation skills;  Applicants must have good computer skills;  Knowledge of Occupational social work. Core Functions:  Develop and render advance and complex Police Social Work Services work-focus assessments;  Render comprehensive occupational social work to the client system by means of restorative, promote, work person and workplace interventions;  Render comprehensive occupational social work services to the client system by means of applications of Social Work Community Model;  Implement the multi-disciplinary approach interventions within the Employee Health and Wellness environment;  Execute standard social work administration practices. A candidate, whose particulars appear in either the National Register of Sex Offenders or Part B of the Child Protection Register, will be disqualified from appointment to the post.  The Criminal Law (Forensic Procedures) Amendment Act, Act 37 of 2013 requires that all new appointments in the SAPS as from 31 January 2015 provide a buccal (inside cheek) sample in order to determine their forensic DNA profile. The forensic DNA profile derived from the sample will be loaded to the Elimination Index of the National Forensic DNA Database.  All short-listed candidates will be subjected to fingerprint screening.  Correspondence will be conducted with successful candidates only.
