Statistics South Africa has eight permanent position for Call Centre Agents in the Stakeholder Relations and Marketing division at Head Office, Pretoria (REF NO: 04/03/15HO).
Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) provides scientific knowledge that enables society to understand complex socio-economic phenomena. It draws its mandate from the Statistics Act, 1999 (Act No 6 of 1999).

Salary: R 103 494 per annum, level 4

Requirements:

A Matric certificate.
Call centre or telecommunications related training will be an added advantage.
Relevant working experience.
Knowledge of Ms Office Suite.
This position will suit a person with:
Good communication, administration and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
Duties
Handle incoming calls regarding census related queries.
Attend to and follow up on queries.
Provide general support to media, fieldwork staff and general public.
Track and record calls.
